The Grindstone

Life is a choice, should I stay in bed

or should I get up and do what has to be done.

Life is a choice, should I eat that second piece of cake

or should I push myself away from the table.

Today, know that some choices are harder to make than others

but doing the next right thing does get easier

as you see the person you want to be

shining forth from the mirror.

Life is letting the grindstone polish us up.

Life is living and loving in the here and now.
