Set The Standard

.

“Set the standard!

Stop expecting others

to show you love,

acceptance, commitment,

& respect when you don’t

even show that to yourself.”

.

~ Steve Maraboli

.

When you have filled yourself up to your neck

with healthy love, the next thing you know

is that the love begins to pour in and out of

every opening in your head.

The eyes sparkle with love,

the lips utter sweet nothings,

the ears hear with a loving compassion

and even the nose runs to smell the

fragrance of love.

Today, set the standard high,

let your heart produce enough love

to fill all of God’s world.

Love is the standard that you set for yourself.

Love is helping someone love themselves.

Over All Virtues

.

14 . And over all

these virtues

put on love,

which binds them

all together

in perfect unity.

.

Colossians 3:14 NIV

.

Virtues are the good things

that one thinks and does.

Compassion, forgiveness, faith, sobriety

and all other virtues begin with love.

Love yourself, love your fellow man, love God’s world,

and the more unconditionally that

you love

the unity of all the virtues will bring this world

to a better understanding of peace and serenity.

Love is over all virtues.

Love is helping someone love themselves.
