Be careful what you pray for,

you might just get it.

The best prayer is “Thank You”,

the second best prayer is to ask

for the courage and strength

to do the next right thing.

Prayers always work best

when we do the footwork to help God out.

Life is an invitation to be changed from within.

Life is to live and love in the here and now.

The Prayer of Quiet

The prayer of quiet

involves listening

and waiting.

This often does not feel

like prayer.

Because we tend

to think of prayer

as doing something,

rather than as waiting quietly before God….”

Pray for the courage to accept life as God creates it.

Pray for the strength to do God’s will.

These prayers involve quiet listening and waiting,

the only thing needed to be done is to pray.

Life is waiting quietly before God.
