True Value

088

.

“Too many people

overvalue what

they are not

and undervalue

what they are.”

.

~ Malcom Forbes

.

From the extrovert to the introvert,

from the boastful lion to the timid scarecrow,

people and their values have a far reaching

spectrum of what is real and what is fancied.

Good friends help each other to find

a balance in their values and they support

each other when one of them runs off

of the yellow brick road.

Today, keep a friend from losing their head in the clouds

or from drowning in the dismal swamp of despair

by just pointing out the road to Kansas.

Friendship is knowing the value of your friend.

Friendship is a priceless gem

that is to be valued and protected.

Busy

.

“It is not enough

to be busy;

so are the ants.

The question is:

what are we busy about?”

.

~ Henry David Thoreau

.

The will of God according to ME:

be kind, be loving, be patient, be tolerant,

be forgiving, be compassionate and

be the person your Higher Power  wants you to be,

the person who makes this world a better place

for you having been here.

Get busy, the world needs your talents and skills.

Life is to be busy doing the will of God.

Life is living and loving in the here and now.
