A Shoulder

024

.

“Even those

who have the most

will in time

need a shoulder

to cry on.”

.

~ Michael Lerian

.

Inevitably. Undoubtedly. Unavoidably.

It happens even to the best; a moment of separation,

a time of loss, a place where happiness is not welcomed,

a situation that makes you want to just sit down and cry.

Have faith, be strong, good and bad are just

the Great Creators way of keeping a balance in this Uni-verse.

Be kind, you never know what the other person is going through.

Kindness is having a shoulder for someone to cry on.

Kindness is the beginning of a life filled with love.

Tangled Roots

005

.

“Growing apart doesn’t

change the fact that

for a long time

we grew side by side;

our roots will always

be tangled.

I’m glad for that.”

.

~ Ally Condie

.

Our roots are those experiences

that allow us to  become the people we are.

Neighborhood, church, school, summer camp,

sports, band, hobbies, family reunions or

whatever the experience may be, friends

have been there and when we move on in life

our roots remain entangled.

Friends are what make the experience

worth remembering.

Friendship is having tangled roots.

Friendship is a priceless gem

that is to be valued and protected.
