Rarely, and I do mean rarely, does life give you more

downs than ups.

I’m awake, I’m breathing, I have a roof over my head,

I do not hunger, I have family, I have friends,

I am physically healthy, it is the mental health

that makes my wife wonder about how healthy I really am.

Be grateful, seven out of eight is a great life.

Happiness is a smiley face of gratitude

painted on everything.

Happiness is helping someone help themselves.

Give freely for it will be returned in kind.

Give your opinion when requested.

A helping hand is always appreciated.

Going outside the comfort zone with a friend

can be it’s own reward.

Be patient, this to shall pass.

Not supporting a friend is tantamount

to throwing them under the bus.

Through thick and thin, together.

Friendship continues unchangeably.

Friendship is a priceless gem

that is to be valued and protected.
