Let It Grow

Taking hostages is like plucking flowers,

shut off from their source of energy they both die.

Today, do not hate, you may dislike some things,

but to have the best, most enjoyable day of your life

love everything, take no hostages, pluck no flowers.

Always remember that you are perfect,

the world is perfect,

just as God wants it to be,

and who cannot love perfection.

Love is the flower, you’ve got to let it grow.

Love is helping someone love themselves.

Stillness

As our lives go speeding by all that we sense is

‘the roar of the greasepaint and the smell of the crowd.’

Learn to listen and listen to learn

and know that the stillness and quiet is

God’s opportunity to speak.

Today, seek out the stillness and quiet and

take the opportunity to thank your loving Higher Power

for giving you the life you have lived.

Stillness is the love of God.

Happiness is in the stillness.

Happiness is helping someone help themselves.
