On It’s Behalf

“I want love to conquer all.

But love can’t conquer anything.

It can’t do anything on it’s own.

It relies on us to do the conquering

on its behalf.”

.

~ David Levithan

Love is not a thing.

Love  does not exist until you have a feeling

that arouses a good thought or idea and

you put that thought into action.

Smile, say something nice, hold the door,

provide emotional and physical security,

share the good and the bad, be there,

love is showing someone you care.

Love is relying upon us to help it conquer all.

Love is helping someone love themselves.

At Once

“Why not seize

the pleasure at once? –

– How often

is happiness destroyed

by preparation,

foolish preparation!”

.

~ Jane Austen

If you want to mess up a really good opportunity,

tell God your plans.

When God stops laughing you may best follow

the sage advice of those gurus who have

for centuries admonished one and all to

‘enjoy the moment.’

Here today, gone tomorrow, if tomorrow ever comes,

so why not be happy, be the change,

embrace the change, make the change to

kindness and love, the root of all happiness.

Heaven awaits the happy soul.

Happiness is to seize the pleasure at once.

Happiness is helping someone help themselves.
