Emotions are feelings on steroids.

Are you in a funk, can’t get off of your duff,

get out of yourself and try to help someone else.

The joy, the feelings of gratitude, the happiness

that doing for others brings into your heart

is guaranteed to bring light to the funk

and movement to the feet.

Today, feel the emotions, laugh, cry,

share the love and try to be the person

your Higher Power wants you to be.

Happiness is enjoying the emotions.

Happiness is helping someone help themselves.

All Along

Since Adam met Eve, men and women have

fallen in love a few million, billion times.

Some matches are perfect, some not so,

most have had enough of a spark to keep love

and the population growing.

If you have yet to find your perfect love,

not to worry, time has proven that God

has made a lid for every pot,

even the ones that are slightly cracked.

Love is two souls who share one heart.

Love is helping someone love themselves
