Gratitude and Faith

December 29

“Let gratitude

be the pillow upon

which you kneel to say

your nightly prayer.

And let faith be the bridge

you build to overcome evil

and welcome good.”

~ Maya Angelou
.
Let us pray:

God, thank you for the morning.

Creator, I am grateful for your blessings;

the food, clothing and shelter.

Holy Spirit, I appreciate your grace;

the awesome people, places and things.

Lord, I believe that your love will help me

overcome my difficulties

and lead me down the pathway of

kindness, patience, tolerance and forgiveness.

Amen

Life is gratitude and faith.

Life is living and loving in the here and now.

Already There

“Can miles truly

separate you from friends…

If you want to be with

someone you love,

aren’t you already there?”

.

~ Richard Bach

The heart and soul can be happy just thinking

of family and friends regardless of where

the bodies may reside.

Friendship is heart to heart.

Today, say a prayer

and include all of your friends

from near and far.

Friendship is never being separated by miles.

Friendship is a priceless gem

that is to be valued and protected.
