You do not make me happy,

it is my response to you, my conscious decision

to make myself happy,

however, it does help when you do something nice,

something that makes my heart sing.

Today, to be happy I will consciously

go to wonderful places, do the next right thing

and hang with the beautiful people.

Today, follow my lead and be

conscious and be happy.

Happiness is a conscious choice.

Happiness is helping someone help themselves.

A Matter Of Love

Love does many a strange thing

and one of the strangest is how it can

warp the thinking of a normally sane thinker.

Love can make a memory grow.

Love can turn a negative into a positive.

Today, don’t try to figure out how love works,

no one has yet to put a label on the phenomenon

and it is not likely that anyone ever will.

Today, just enjoy the illusions love creates.

Love is a memory that grows stronger and stranger.

Love is helping someone love themselves.
