Tell The Truth

.

.

“Tell the truth;

there’s less

to remember.”

.

~ Mark Twain

.

.

If you  can’t tell the truth,

don’t say anything at all.

A mind free of guilt and shame is a happy mind.

Even telling an ugly person

that they are beautiful is not a lie

because you know that God gives every person

a beautiful soul.

Today, practice restraint of tongue, think

of the consequences before you say something

that you may later regret.

Happiness is telling the truth.

Happiness is helping someone help themselves.

Fashioned Speech

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

.

“The wise ones

fashioned speech

with their thought,

sifting it as grain

is sifted through

a sieve.”

.

~ Buddha

.

The sharpest instrument ever possessed by man

is his tongue.

Even compliments can become hand grenades

if you do not choose the right words.

Before you say anything today,

if you can’t say anything nice you might as well

say nothing at all.

Today, use the easy words; please, thank you,

may I help, and show the world how wise you are.

Kindness is using wise fashioned speech.

Kindness is the beginning of a life filled with love.
