Yes, it is great to just hang out with a friend,
but to be a true friend we should pay attention
and be with our friends; body, mind and soul.
Mindfulness is not just a solitary practice;
controlling your breathing,
contemplating your navel,
concentrating on chewing of your food,
it is also being aware of the world about you
and the greatest rewards are when
you share your world with a friend.
Friendship is offering mindful attention to those we love.
