“Part of the
happiness of life
consists not in
fighting battles,
but in avoiding them.
A masterly retreat
is in itself a victory.”
.
~ Norman Vincent Peale
.
Most battles are ego driven, selfish,
self-centered desires which will benefit no one.
Stubborn, bull-headed, mean, lazy or ignorant
do not constitute good reasons to start a crusade.
Compromise, there is usually a better way.
Today, if you feel that you must fight,
pick a cause that will benefit the whole world.
Remember, even Jesus found it necessary
to confront the money changers in the temple.
Happiness is avoiding the battles.
Happiness is helping someone help themselves.
