“Always remember
that you are
absolutely unique.
Just like
everyone else.”

~ Margaret Mead
.
One of a kind, uniquely you.
No need to keep up with the Smiths or the Johnsons.
Follow your heart, follow your dreams,
be the person your Higher Power wants you to be,
the person who will make this world
a better place for all.
Today, do the next right thing,
the unique thing
that you were placed on this earth to do.
Life is knowing that you are absolutely unique.
Life is living and loving in the here and now.

The Big Book helps us to understand that we are not so unique. We are the same in AA with multiple common denominators as alcoholics.

“For every true statement there is an opposite one that is also true; . . ”

Had an acquaintance who went through the Big Book and listed the juxtapositions. It makes it possible to take whatever side you may need
to make sure you can support any discussion. I am unique, and an alcoholic that is not unique.

Fully agree. I read every single thing Hesse ever wrote by age 30. Paragraph by paragraph full of juxtapositions.
