Selfish, self centered, egotistic, it is all about me, ties you
into a bundle whose knots can only be untied by a Higher Power.
Compounded by an addictive disease, over which we are powerless,
only adds to the number and tightness of the knots in the bundle.
How it works, in twelve easy steps, is to admit that we are
powerless, find a Higher Power of our understanding, clean house,
and get out of our small bundles and help another person.
Notice that there was a switch from I to We when there was
a desire to stop tying ourselves up into tighter knots.
Happiness is discovering the goodness hid inside our bundles.
Happiness is helping someone help themselves.
