The ego is usually very selfish and self-centered

and even when it is thinking of others, it is to use them

and abuse them so that the ego can achieve its goal,

instant gratification.

Today, be the person your Higher Power wants you to be;

kind, considerate, loving, patient, tolerant, forgiving

and allow your heart to be your guide.

Love is what guides you to do the next right thing.

Love is helping someone love themselves.

You may please some of the people,

some of the time,

but you can never please all of the people

all of the time.

Start with yourself, wouldn’t life be fantastic

if you could please yourself all of the time ? ? ?

No such luck, life is a give and take, therefore,

always choose your fights carefully

and know that there will be times

when surrendering to please a special soul

may be the best course of action.

Life is to please that special someone.

Life is to live and love in the here and now.
