No Odor

“Guests,

like fish,

begin to smell

after three days.”

.

– Benjamin Franklin

.

We were friends when the visit began,

let us remain friends after we have departed,

therefore,

as friends we will not overstay our welcome.

Things and people change, older but not always wiser,

the hostess with the mostess will one day just not be up to

what was once the norm.

Be kind, be loving, don’t tax the retired,

enjoy the visit and leave on good terms.

Friendship is never stinking up the joint.

Friendship is a priceless gem that is to be valued and protected.

Work, Work, Work

“It is the

working man

who is the

happy man.

It is the

idle man

who is the

miserable man.”

~ Benjamin Franklin

.

A healthy self-esteem always makes one happy,

the dignified feeling that you receive from doing something

to make this world a better place for all.

It does not matter if you are being compensated

for the effort in money, barter or just the satisfaction

of creating a beautiful garden,  minds and hands

that are busy always produce a happy heart.

Happiness is working to do God’s will.

Happiness is helping someone help themselves.
