My Identity

.

“I belong to

the people I love,

and they belong to me-

-they, and the love

and loyalty I give them,

form my identity

far more than any word

or group ever could.”

.

~ Veronica Roth

.

I am not a color,

I am not an ethnic group,

I am not a religion,

I am a unique individual,

a soul that needs other souls,

a sense of belonging,

to validate my existence.

Those souls who natured and nurtured me

taught me that love gave me my identity.

Today, belong by being the love.

Love forms the souls identity.

Love is helping someone love themselves.

Commune Daily

007

.

“To commune daily

with God

in deep meditation,

and to carry His love

and guidance with you

into all your daily activities,

is the way that leads to

permanent peace and happiness.”

.

~ Paramahansa Yogananda

.

Religions are good if they teach respect.

Honor thy father and thy mother should be a

daily ‘thank you’ for their having brought you

into this world.

Thou shalt not kill; all lives matter.

Thou shalt not steal; be the love, be the peace,

be the happiness and share all that you can.

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor,

regardless of race, religion, creed, color or sex,

and lets us include education or political orientation.

Today, if your religion is telling you to be disrespectful,

find another God to commune with.

Happiness is communing with a respectful God.

Happiness is helping someone help themselves.
