let us do our best to make a heaven of this life.

Step one to heaven here on earth, be kind.

Step two to heaven here on earth, be patient and tolerant.

Step three to heaven here on earth, love unconditionally.

When we have mastered these three steps we may

waltz together around a world that will be

happy, joyous and free.

Kindness is a stepping stone to heaven.

Kindness is the beginning of a life filled with love.

Mindful Attention

Yes, it is great to just hang out with a friend,

but to be a true friend we should pay attention

and be with our friends;  body, mind and soul.

Mindfulness is not just a solitary practice;

controlling your breathing,

contemplating your navel,

concentrating on chewing of your food,

it is also being aware of the world about you

and the greatest rewards are when

you share your world with a friend.

Friendship is offering mindful attention to those we love.

Friendship is a priceless gem

that is to be valued and protected.
