“Try again. Fail again, Fail better.” ~ Samuel Beckett

This is not a review or a critique of the poet, dramatist,

Nobel laureate, Irish born, French writer Mr. Beckett, but just a thought

brought to mind by the words “Fail Better”, which he used in his title.

Hundreds, if not thousands, of famous leaders, writers

and positive motivational speakers have espoused the virtue of looking at

every obstacle in life as an opportunity to learn, an opportunity to move forward.

Today, try, try again and if you succeed, congratulations, if not,

learn from the lesson and try another way.

Remember, insanity is trying the same thing over an over

while expecting different results.

Happiness is knowing that failure can also be God’s will.

Happiness is helping someone help themselves.

“As I grow older, I pay less attention to what men say.
I just watch what they do.” ~ Andrew Carnegie

The old saying is:

“do not just talk the talk, learn to walk the walk.”

Helpful words can be found by the millions in many a good book.

Men of virtue can pontificate until the cows come home.

However, what the person who can not read and who is hungry

and afraid needs is a hug, a warm meal and a safe haven.

Today, do not just say I love you, show someone you love them

buy being kind, considerate, lovable, sweet and generous to a fault.

Today, do the will of your Higher Power, not just in words,

but in your actions.

Happiness is watching yourself do good.

Happiness is helping someone help themselves.
