Putting Out Fires

.

“Beware

the barrenness

of a

busy life.”

.

~ Socrates

.

A life so busy, the plate is overflowing and

all one can do is put out one fire after another.

Doing for the sake of doing without leaving time

for the spontaneous and the unexpected will lead

to a life that is bare of joy and happiness.

Balance, a full plate is enough

and playing with fire one could get burnt,

so leave time to enjoy the moment.

Be happy, try to do something important

but do not try to do too much,

Happiness is taking time to enjoy.

Happiness is helping someone help themselves.

Unrepentant Pleasure

“Happiness

is

unrepentant

pleasure.”

No guilt,

who could ask for anything more?

Enjoy yourself, but not at the expense of others.

Enjoy yourself, but not at the expense of your health,

physical or mental.

Enjoy yourself, happiness will find you

if you have no guilt.

Happiness is unrepentant pleasure.

Happiness is helping someone help themselves.
