God’s Peace

Virginia 013

.

“Lord,

make me an instrument

of thy peace.

Where these is hatred,

let me sow love.”

.

~ St. Francis of Assisi

.

Doing God’s will:

being kind, loving, patient, tolerant,

forgiving and compassionate will plant the

garden where beauty and sustenance for all souls

will grow in harmony.

Today, sow the love, and let there be no room

in your fields for the weeds of hate.

Love is an instrument of God’s peace.

Love is helping someone love themselves.

“A single rose

can be my garden;

a single friend,

my world.”

More is not always better,

unless it is kindness and love.

More flowers require a bigger garden,

which has room for more weeds, more pests,

more work;

and less time to enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Likewise, too many friends often dilute

the quality and quantity of time you can give to

yourself and the one friend who counts the most.

Today, don’t spread yourself too thin.

Friendship is my world.

Friendship is a priceless gem that is to be valued and protected.
