A Good Act

“If you are not happy,
act the happy man.
Happiness will come later.
If you are in despair,
act as though you believe.
Faith will come afterwards.”

Fake it til’ you make it.
This is not just some kitschy catch phrase,
this is a time honored method
that has been used by many a winner.
Today, if you’re unhappy or feeling vulnerable,
just pretend to be positive and know that
the good attitude will grow into an actual fact.
Happiness is acting that way until it happens.
Happiness is helping someone help themselves.
